The Navajo Nation Advisory Council on Disability (NNACOD) serves as an advocate for individuals with disabilities and their families.
The NNACOD is composed of individuals with disabilities, representatives of public and private service providers and other groups concerned with disability-related issues, representatives of the business community, and advocates for people with disabilities.
The NNACOD will be responsible for insuring that individuals with disabilities have equal access to employment, education, housing, public safety, communication, recreation, medical treatment, and socialization opportunities.
