The Department of Diné Education, OSERS provides independent living services to Navajo people with significant  disabilities.

OSERS’ vision is to assure that Navajo people with significant disabilities can live independently in their home, community and environment.

Independent Living services are funded by the Navajo Nation Trust Funds for Handicapped Services approved by the Navajo Nation Council. Other resources and comparable benefits are also accessed by the Navajo Nation for the provision of comprehensive independent  living services.
